On the surface, our mission is simple. To restore and preserve historical aircraft and honor the brave men and women who maintained and flew them in service.
Our efforts at restoration and preservation have assembled an extensive collection of historic military aircraft. These meticulous restorations have saved some of history’s most precious warbirds. We take this a step further by restoring all of our aircraft to flying condition.
We are passionate about preserving the precious legacy of these aircraft by keeping them flying. Every warbird in our collection can fly and does so regularly. Getting these warbirds back in the sky allows us to educate current and future generations and connect the world to the rich heritage of aviation.
We salute those who have sacrificed for America's freedom. We recognize that the intellectual and physical contributions of the men and women who built this industry, and the veterans who advanced it through their service, are worthy of honor. Their sacrifices should never be forgotten.
The American Honor Foundation is located on the Jumbolair Airport property in Ocala, FL. The museum is currently undergoing construction and is scheduled to open in the Summer of 2023.
We are currently accepting applications for volunteers. Contact us today to see how you can get involved.
